What I can help with
Dust, pollen and bird activity all cut into how much power your panels actually produce. A gentle clean a couple of times a year keeps them working properly, and pigeon-proofing stops the problem coming back.

- Pigeon-proofing mesh fitted around panel edges
- Clearing nesting debris from under panels
- Possum-proofing: sealing entry points in roof cavities and eaves, fitting one-way exclusion measures
Panels in Brisbane pick up a film of dust, pollen and bird droppings that rain alone doesn't shift, especially on flatter roofs. Pigeons nesting underneath add more droppings, noise and debris that can end up in your gutters. I'll look at the roof and access first, tell you what I can see, and quote the cleaning and any pigeon-proofing together so it's all done in one visit.
How I do it
- No abrasive tools or high pressure on the panels, that protects the coating and your warranty.
- A chemistry-informed approach to water spotting, so panels are left clean, not streaky.
- Mesh is checked all the way around so there's no gap left for a pigeon to squeeze through.
- Access is checked first. If a roof isn't safe to work on, I'll say so rather than risk it.

Possums are a protected native species in Queensland, so I proof rather than trap, and I make sure they're out before sealing up. I check roof access when I quote, so you'll know upfront what's involved.
